This new 5th edition is an improvement on an already excellent text on vascular sonography. Some tests are heavy on very detailed, hard-to-grasp, very long-winded theory that seem to be aimed at physicists. Still others are intentionally simplistic in an attempt to convey the basic issues, while unfortunately,
omitting so much you will need different text to fill in blanks.

This is a very thorough text on vascular sonography. Covers all apsects of vascular from peripheral to abdominal. Explains hemodynamics of blood flow and pathology. Excellent text to study for the boards and use in clinical practice.
