This book is a great reference book for the experienced NIC nurse. The outline format is a little easier to follow than straight textbook format. There are a few chapters that are not explained very well, or the data is skipped over quickly, but overall a great book.

I have been a NICU nurse for 10 years. I find this book to be up to date, accurate and very helpful. It is a great reference book. I am using the book and study guide to review for my certification.

It has good illustrations and photographs that support the descriptions. It is an excellent resource for anyone who is serious about neonatal nursing.
