Rating: out of 5 stars - Tim the most life touching film of it's time
Tim was the most touching movie I have seen in years. The interaction and chemisty between Mel Gibson and Piper Laurie was enough to make anyones heart melt. It's look at a women in her mid 40's and career oriented had built a wall up between herself and society. Had met a young man of 24 who was mentaly handicaped (Mel Gibson) and took him under her wing and loved and felt compassion for him. Rating: out of 5 stars - A truly dreadful movie
I hate to admit it, but I wrote/played and recorded the soundtrack. I think hardly anyone actually got paid for their efforts (I was one of the 'lucky' ones). The sex scene was rather disappointing being as I did not see enough skin (though I was not particularly ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - A beautifully done "love conquers all" timeless love story
A quiescent story of love knowing no boundries, overcoming limitations and conquering prejudices. Aloofness turns to tender kindness as Piper Lorrie overcomes her feelings of rejection. Mel Gibson moves beyond his challenges of belittlement and diminished intellectual capacity. Together they dicover a friendship which forms the foundation of love and marriage.
An early role(released the same year as the first Mad Max) showing Mel Gibson's incredible versitility. This performance shows the same sensitivity ... Read More
